Kid Speak
Upon seeing a display for Star Wars bedsheets, my son stopped dead in his tracks. He looked closely at the colorful cartoonish images and this is how our converstaion went:
my son: Is that Obi Wan?
me: yes, I believe it is.
my son: Sweet!
Sweet? I am so out of the loop.

well it is my belief one is never too old but they only come in twin size sheets so you'll be sleeping alone. And when you really think about it, what has Yoda done for you lately?
I had Pac-Man sheets when I was a kid. hehehe
Love the new template. I thought I was on the wrong blog!
oh yeah, I should mention something about that. I just got really irritated with the dots one day. I thought "why did I choose dots? I hate dots!" I don't really hate dots, I just did on that day. So Ichanged the template.
I like the new template, too :)
I don't know when people started saying, "sweet." I thought I was the only person who said it- I really like sweets, one day it slipped out as an exclamation while congratulating my Mom for something, then I thought how fun it sounded... Now, it's everywhere!!!
..which forces me to return to my previous preferred exclamation, "nifty."
