Beer Bread Failure
I made beer bread yesterday. I used Guinness extra stout beer. Needless to say the bread came out very bitter. My daughter loved it but I am not so sure the alcohol cooked out completely. Even I had a bit of a buzz or something after eating it. I think today I might retry the recipe using ginger ale. I love to bake sometimes.

I made bean soup tonight with dumplings on top.
I like cooking and baking, but only when someone else can help clean up the mess!!!! :-)
