Practice Makes Perfect
Little Man didn't study for his spelling test last week. It has always been a tough task for him (spelling) but this week I just had to share. Number 10 was suppose to be "shirt". I have no idea what he was trying to spell for number 6.
How do teachers keep a straight face when grading these kind of things?

That is excellent. Teachers rock.
You just made me spit my coffee accross the room! That's certainly what I didn't expect to see! Yay for kids and their "fooks" and "shirts" hehe :)
oh and see post for today on same topic.
I don't know, if spelling is not his thing, by the time he got to number 10 he might have really meant it!!
Loved the post.
Number 10 is classic!
That's so funny. My friend is a 5th grade teacher. Her post about (written) questions the girls asked during sex ed week was hilarious: http://whatsthenameofthegame.blogspot.com/2006/01/im-just-not-over-my-ex-girlfriend-yet.html
That's great Mum! You know where he gets it. ;)
When V. was small he couldn't do the "TR" sound. He used the "F" sound instead My mom had come in from out of state. He wanted to show her his new truck. He handed it to her, looked her right in the eye and said "F*CK". My mom got this startled look on her face and gave me this stern look and asked "What did that child just say?" she couldn't understand why I was rolling on the floor laughing.
Ahahha! I love it!
Awww that is Too cute Daphne :)
I used to know a sixth-grade boy named Andrew, who had a hard time spelling. We worked on Phonics with him a lot, and I really think associating certain sounds with certain letters, especially relating them to sounds in words he already know- I really think that helped.

Oh that's funny stuff, Daph. He should write stories. I just posted a story my sister wrote when she was 12. It's pretty classic.
