Clarification and a Question
Thanks so much for saying nice things about my blog Kimananda, Vickie and Sangroncito. Honestly though, I meant that post to be a thank you to all of you for reading. My life is not full of adventure, it is just full. I am not super intelligent but I love being around intelligence. I just meant that despite the lack of interesting topics, you all keep coming back and I appreciate it. When I think about my blogroll, I realize that I have diverse blog buddies yet I see something of myself or someone I love dearly in each of you. It's kind of strange but I get so much pleasure reading your blogs and comments that I hope, I can give back just a fraction of the enjoyment. I think I like reading the blogs and commenting more than writing my own blog. But I have to admit, it is a great way to express some creativity.
Okay, so once again, I love my readers! Keep coming back because you never know when the post might be an award winner. Now for the question I need to ask. This is mostly for anyone over the age of 36 (my age). I need to know, will I ever stop getting zits? You would think that a woman who is nearly 40 would stop getting blemishes whenever "the tragedy" (menses) threatens to call. I was just wondering. And no, this is not one of those award winning posts :D

Are you kidding? Your blog is never boring...I always look forward to reading it and take great joy when I see a comment on mine from you...it's always as if an old friend has stopped by and left a message. Keep blogging!
Ok, so I'll admit I'm a bit over 36. Everyone is different, but I think you will find various hormone-related changes, or cycles, in life can cause zits, as can any number of other factors including stress, foods you eat, etc. My husband still gets them, too, and more often than I do, and I won't even tell you his age! Sorry, I didn't offer much hope, eh?
Thank you for the thank you!
I wish I could offer you hope from my chair here in the old folk's home (only my half of the home...Thor is too young to live there), but I still get zits. Not as often as when I was younger, but still. I think it's an eternal thing.
Hi. I enjoy reading your blog as well. I have similar crises of confidence as you do about the quality of my writing. I guess that everyone has the same worries. But please keep going.
My mom got a fresh round of zits in her late 30's, early 40's. Everyone teased her and said she was newly "young" again.
Eventually she grew out of it, but my advice is to buy Proactiv. Works wonders for me.
I love you, too!
I think that Philosophy's "On a Clear Day" serum works super and it doesn't dry out my skin that much. But I think it's a little pricey.
**hugs** I guess I should have read this post first.
Warm fuzzies abound! You are such a sweetheart, do you know that??
I asked my Dr last year at my annual appt WHY I had to still be getting zits AND now am getting wrinkles. YECHHHH.
Etchen, I'll keep blogging because I like to talk too much. But I really want to say thanks for stopping by all the time. I missed you while you were getting Michael's affairs in order.
Vickie, I think I am resigned to the fact I will have these for years to come. I have been agitated something fierce lately (note my latest entry about the Amish farmer) and that seems to make my blemishes worse.
Kim, I knew that Thor was younger but it never registered that Thor was YOUNGER. You know what I mean? You go girl with your boy toy ;) does anyone say that anymore (you go girl)?
James, I love your blog too. I added it to my links recently. You are teaching me a lot about England. Your writing skills are superb. I really mean that.
Spencer, I looked in the mirror today and I ain't getting naked with anyone including myself! But you never know what could happen after a pitcher of bloody marys ;)
Leslie, I like that. Newly young. Not to stereotype but Asian (please bear with the generic term) women (especially the Chinese) have the best skin and youthful looks in the world. It is so unfair to us gringos. My aunt is half-korean and half-richie cunningham white and she looks like a teenager still. She is totally ageless.
Boozie, you are the queen of skin products and I knew you would know the best stuff. Your skin glows! Most women only get that look when they are pregnant. I have been jealous since day one. And I love you right back!
Sangroncito, I am so glad to hear that men also suffer once in a while. It helps to know that you have a friend to share the burden ;)
Jayleigh, my wrinkles are another story but once you said that having crows feet means I smile a lot. I look at those wrinkles now as a badge of honor. Thanks for the encouraging words and thanks for being a wonderful blogger buddy *hugs*
I'm 21...and you're depressing me...
35 here and I also get the occasional blemish....every occasion that is important--there I am, blemishes and all.
I actually commented on your last post, but it seems that it didn't post.
I love reading your blog as well. I think we all get to a point where we feel we have nothing of interest to say. I get that way quite often. So there are many days that I will not post anything, but love to sit and catch up on the blogs that I love or take some time to read ones that are brand new to me. Regardless, we are here when you do decide to post anything :)
Love ya girl!
