Trix, You Lie

This is NOT a new shape. You youngsters may not remember this but little round colored trix was the original shape of this cereal. It just goes to show you, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I ALWAYS felt like ball-shaped was the better way to go. I am glad General Mills finally saw it my way.

Yes, I know that I seriously need to get a life.

What was the Old shape, before the New shape took over?
A Life? ... Round shaped one?

Well, you may feel you need to get a life, but I clearly don't have a life at all...haven't Trix always been ball-shaped? What did they change it to?

I was never allowed to have Trix. *sniff*

Glad it's back to the original shape though. They SHOULD NOT "improve" products. Unless they really make them better, and give you more, at a lesser price!

Church was called off this morning because the roads are so bad. Lucky me, getting a "day off."

Want a real conspiracy? Remember when Cinnamon Toast Crunch first came out? There were THREE chefs. Suddenly, two dissapeared and nobody said a thing. Hmmmm. I smell foulplay in the cereal kitchen. Ha!

Oh, so THAT'S where they reassigned the guy who came up with NEW Coke. ;-)

LB, my life is already pretty round :) Trix was always round until they changed it to fruit shaped mess like watermelon wedges and grape bunches. Really lame.

Kim, I am not sure when they changed it to the fruit shaped but I remember Mouse and Mica were small when I first bought the cereal and discovered the change. I was incredulous and honestly, the kids wouldn't eat them. Instead, they ate the cheap Kroger brand that were ball shaped.

Jay, I wasn't allowed sweetened cereal very often either. I usually only got them at a relatives house or a friends. Fortunately, I got to go over to grandma's or my aunt's house a lot. How did you enjoy your day? Have fun in SC! I bet the weather there will be fabulous.

FH, oh my gosh! I love a great conspiracy. I also remember the little elephant from coco-crispies. Now it is Snap, Crackle and Pop. I even remember the song "it's time for cocoa-crispies they are so chocolatey. When I get a taste of them I trumpet happily tootle toot toot!" I am really starting to freak myself out here :)

Rick, now that was funny! Nothing like a bad idea that haunts you until the day you die, eh?
