My Blog Has Moved

Okay I just gave in and did it. Honestly, my heart isn't into blogging right now but I know that down the line it will be so I need to keep at it even if I am not into it at the moment. Nice run on sentence for you there. Now that you have caught your breath, I will leave this blog up. I think I will keep my baseball blog here and my Still Drifting About on Wordpress. I am so dang wishy-washy and I do apologize. I have added some of my blogroll to the new page but if I missed you, don't panic. Just let me know and I will get put up in no time. Maybe Moving & An Outing At The Cinema

I have been toying with wordpress.com and so far so good. I am thinking about moving but don't worry, I will let you when I am ready to go. I still have not mastered uploading pictures and that is just not acceptable. So until I can have a blog with pics at wordpress then I will continue to post here.

So I escaped to the movies today and watched Premonition. Didn't the trailers look good? Maybe I was suckered or something. I absolutely LOVE Sandra Bullock but this movie was not that enjoyable for me. She looked so beaten the entire movie. And instead of sad, or scared or determined she just looked numb. Kind of disappointing. The story did not sum up well either. Anyhoo, I knew I was in trouble because the lady that sold me tickets to Friends With Money was working today. When she sold me the tickets at that movie she said "Oh I loved that movie. It is a really good movie." Then I watched it and hated it. So today she said "Premonition is a great movie. I really enjoyed it." I took my tickets and said "thanks" but inside I just knew, me and this woman don't see eye to eye. Bummer.

Not That I Give A Darn But....

I don't really care at all about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt even though the rest of America seems smitten by them. I think she is a homewrecker and I think he sucks. The only movie that I thought he did really good in was 12 Monkeys. Also, am I the only one who remembers her making out with her brother at the Academy Awards when she won for Girl Interrupted? It creeped me out for life. Anyway, that being said, their kids have cool names. They are good at naming kids.

Vacation All I Ever Wanted*

Mr. Daphnewood is on vacation this week so I am spending lots of time with him. I will be just popping in to blogs every now and then and probably not posting for the next few days. Have fun because you know I will be!

2 Years!!!

Today my blog is 2 years old. I can hardly believe it. It really hasn't done much to improve my creativity but at least I am still having fun. Spring Fever

I think I need a break from computers. Too bad my job requires that I use one. It is trying to turn into spring out my way so the outdoors is looking much more appealing than the monitor of my computer. I guess I could always work this evening instead. So now that is decided, today I am hanging up a sign on my door :

I Choose Happy!

Today I choose to be happy. Oh some bad things have happened like expensive car repairs and having to test my blood sugar all the time but those things are not going to keep me down. Nope. Not today because today is Wednesday and that makes tomorrow Thursday. On Thursday Mr. Daphnewood leaves for Atlanta for a few days but when he gets back he will be on vacation! Yes Yes Yes! I will have him all to myself until the kids get out for spring break next friday. So happy times indeed. AND this month is also the month that the Pretender movies I ordered come in. AND I have been keeping track of spring training baseball games being played. The Astros have won more than they have lost. I am just giddy.

Why do all American bakeries smell like cooked raspberries? Everytime I walk into the grocery store bakery, Sam's Club bakery, Costco bakery, local wedding cake bakery etc. they ALL smell like raspberry compote or something sweet like that. What is the deal? Tell me! Please, it drives me nuts. They can't ALL be making raspberry rugala.

Friday was anniversary #16 for Mr. Daphnewood and myself. I love that man more and more each and every day. I am the most blessed woman when it comes to the husband department. It is a joy being married to him and I just wanted to say that in front of the entire world. The past 16 years have been filled with love, joy and a lot of laughter and I know our future years together will more of the same.
